To find out the typing speed, do the following.

Step 1: - To open Ms-Word on a computer with Windows 10, type Word in the search box and click on Word 2013.

I have installed Ms-Office 2013 on my computer.

That's why Word 2013 is seen. It looks like the version (Word 2007, Word 2010 or Word) installed on your computer.

Step 2: - After clicking, the Ms-word app opens as given below.

Step 3: - Keep a table watch on the table to see the time. If not, use the clock time of the computer.

Step 4: - Now prepare a sheet with 200-400 Nepali words on the table and put it in front of the computer.

Note the time and start typing in Ms-Word in Preeti or Unicode.

Step 5: - Stop after 5 minutes. Count the total typed word, the wrong word. The total number of words can be found as given in the photo below. But to calculate the wrong word, you can find the correct word per minute from the formula by looking from the beginning.

Step 6: -Then extract the correct word per minute (Correct Words / Minute) using the following formula.

Formula: -

Pure words per minute ‍ = (TotalWordstyped-WrongWords) / 5

Pure word per minute ‍ = (144-0) / 5 = 28.8

Your Devanagari Typing speed is 28.8.

June 28.8 means 25 or more pure words per minute.
