1. Type the application, letter, greeting and format it.
For e.g.

     Subject: Sick Leave Required
     Dear Mr./Mrs. {Recipient’s Name},

I am down with fever and flu because of which I will not be able to come to the office for at least {X days}. As per my family doctor, it is best that I take rest and recover properly before resuming work.
I have asked {colleague’s name} to check on my clients and will try to periodically check my email if you need anything urgent.
Please grant me leave for the aforementioned period. If you need additional information, please let me know.

2.  Create a table in the document and format it.
For e.g.
  • create a 2 by 3 table in the document.
  • Inserting 5 x5 table and shading the first row.
  • Insert a table with 5 column and 6 rows and keep first rows shading with darker 5%.
3.  Type the following paragraph and format it.
For e.g.
  • Justify the paragraphs.
  • Centralize the heading of your document.
  • Apply 16pt font size with bold and italic for heading and center align it.
  • Apply thin single line as a bottom border for all headings.
4. Setting the page margin such as Top margin, Bottom margin, left margin, right margin.
For e.g.
  • Setup page margin 1.50" left and Right 1.05".
  • Set page margin left and right as 1" and top and bottom as 0.75".
5.  Setting the layout of the page such as Portrait, Landscape
For e.g.
  • Set up the page layout Landscape orientation.
  • Create Page 1 and 2 in Portrait.
  • Create Page 3 in Landscape.
  • And 4 and 5 in A4 Portrait.
6.   Adjust the indentation such as Left indentation & right indentation
For e.g.
  • Give 0.5” left and 0.5” right indentation to 2nd paragraph.  
  • Keep 2/2 inches left and right indent.
7.  Apply the text & paragraph border, text & paragraph shading, page border, page border shading, single & double underline, text highlight color.
For e.g.
  • Give the border and shading to the third paragraph.
  • Apply a suitable page border.
  • Apply 14 pt font size and double underline to the highlighted text.
8.  Apply the spacing between the paragraph and line spacing between lines such as  Before and after paragraph spacing.
For e.g.
  • 1.5 line spacing for 1st paragraph.
  • Apply paragraph spacing after 12pt for all paragraphs.
  • Apply line paragraph 1.5 lines for the third paragraph and justify it.
9.  Break the paragraph into lines or sentences, gives the numbering and list.
For e.g.
  • Use numbering to the sentences in the second paragraph. (Insert till 5)
  • Make five lists of numbering.Make the five list of bullets having hand symbol.
  • Apply numbers for the last five sentences for 4th paragraph.
10.  Apply the style to the paragraph heading.
For e.g. Heading 1, Heading 2, Heading 4

11.  Break the paragraph into newpapers like columns.
For e.g.
  • Make Three Column of 1st paragraph and show line between the columns. 
12. Insert the picture, clipart between the paragraph or top of the page and add caption on it.
For e.g.
  • Insert a Clipart right side of second paragraph set text wrapping square and insert caption below clip art as "Figure 1 : Clip art Picture" form reference.
13.  Insert the shapes in the document.
For e.g.
  • Insert an Octagon and write your name in the center.
  • Draw octagon shapes and add your name and center Alignment.
14.  Insert the text box in the document at the top position of the page, add text in the text box and format it.
For e.g.
  • Insert "Practical Preparation" in right margin of document in vertical alignment orientation.
  • Add a text box and write three words and display them vertically.
15.  Drop the first text or word of the paragraph into two or three lines.
For e.g.
  • Make an initial letter of the first paragraph big (i.e. that covers 3 lines) and change it 60 sizes, ‘Arial Black’ font.
  • Make Drop Cap the first letter of the second paragraph.
16.  Insert the hyperlink and linked to any document, file or other location of the file.

17.  Insert the  Header, footer, footnote, endnote, page number and  format it.
For e.g.
  • Insert "Computer Operator Exam 2070" as footer, header, and watermark.
  • Give the different header and footer within a document.
  • Keep a footnote to any one of the words of the first paragraph.
  • Insert "Word Processing Question" as header and page number in footer.
  • Insert footnote as "Operator Exam" in "Looking" text.
18.  Insert the excel sheet in the document for the calculation.

19.  Secure, save the document with the password.

For e.g.
  • Set a password using your symbol number to modify.
  • Save your document with a password to open.
20.  Adjust the page size of the document such as A4, A3, etc.

21. Adjust each Page to a different Page Setting. Such as the first page in Portrait, Second in Landscape, Third in Portrait.

For e.g. Make the three blank pages where 1st and 3rd page are in portrait orientation and 2nd pages is in landscape orientation.

22. In the header or footer, add the current file location of the document. 

23. Set the watermark “Operator Google”.
